What we are looking for during your bass audition:
1) Lyrics are memorized.
2) Timing is accurate (proper transitions from verses to choruses, general tempo steadiness etc.)
3) Stage presence (joyful countenance, fluidity of movement, raising of hands etc. Side note- we aren’t looking for you to fake anything. Just worship, and allow yourself the freedom to express that through your stage presence!)
4) CONFIDENCE. You are auditioning to lead worship; not to be a singer. Give it everything you have and don’t second guess yourself. Be who God is calling you to be as a worship leader, and let that reflect through your confidence during the audition.
