Overview
About the Partnership
REVO Church is excited to partner with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) Zimbabwe to train and equip pastors in and around the rural area of Chidrezi, Zimbabwe. This is part of an overall strategy to train and equip 100 - 150 rural area pastors in sound theological training and leadership skills over the next 3 - 5 years.
About the Ministries
The majority of each day will be spent in two groups. Group 1 will be providing sound theological and leadership training for the local pastors. The training time will be instruction / conversation, with high engagement and deep discussion. Group 2 will be out in the surrounding rural communities engaged in a variety of relational ministries (light construction, school visits, home visits, etc). Some evenings will be spent in an evangelistic setting sharing the Jesus Film in areas with virtually no Gospel saturation. While in Zimbabwe the team will have the opportunity to worship alongside the church in Zimbabwe and most likely participate in a Safari at Gonarezhou National Park. The exact make-up of the ministry for this summer trip will depend on the gifts, skills, talents, and desires of the team the Lord assembles.
