Acts Chapter 3

In Acts chapter 3 we see Peter and John going to the Temple where they meet a poor beggar who cannot walk. Instead of giving the man money, Peter heals the man in the name of Jesus.

Read: Acts 3:1-12

1. Early on the Apostles prioritized prayer. Is prayer something that you prioritize?

2. Peter and John stopped and saw the man in need. Do you make it a habit of seeing people in need around you?

3. Peter looked at the man and didn't offer him money, but offered him Jesus instead. What causes us to believe that Jesus isn't enough for our problems?

4. Peter took hold of the man and pulled him up before the miracle even occurred. What does that tell you about the relationship between faith and actions?

5. Are there things in your life that you need to be like Peter and take action trusting that Jesus is in control?

6. When the miracle happened the man ran in the temple praising God. Is that your posture when God moves in your life?

7. When the crowds surrounded them post-miracle Peter shared the Gospel. When was a time when you gave God all the credit?
