Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we took a reprieve from the book of Acts to focus on a lady named Eunice.

Eunice was Timothy's mother, and she impacted Timothy's faith!

1. What women/mothers have impacted your life and faith?

Read: 2 Timothy 1:3-5

2. Paul shows how Eunice's faith has been passed down to Timothy. How can faith be passed down?

3. Are there any examples of people living faithfully that have impacted your faith? What are they?

4. How do you try to pass down your faith to your kids/family/friends?

Read: 2 Timothy 3:14-17

Eunice not only passed down faith in Jesus but also passed down lessons about God and the Bible.

5. Were any lessons passed down to you at an early age that impacted your faith in Jesus?

6. What lessons are you trying to pass down to your kids/family/friends?

Read: Acts 16:1-3

Eunice wasn't perfect. She was a Jew who married a Greek. This doesn't seem significant except for the fact that throughout the Bible God tells his people not to marry non-believers.

Despite this, she didn't let her failures stop her from pouring into Timothy.

7. How have you seen people live faithfully to God despite their failures?

8. How can you lead through your failures?
