Sermon Content 5/26/24

Act chapter 7 gives us Stephen's speech which challenges us to be bold in our faith.

Stephen was arrested wrongfully for sharing the Gospel and was put on trial.

During Acts chapter 7, Stephen references the history of Israel, charges the Pharisees with rejecting and killing Jesus, and ultimately is martyred for his faith.

Read: Acts 7:54-60

1. Stephen was described as filled with the Spirit and full of faith. If people were looking at your life how would you be described?

2. What Spiritual Disciplines do you need to work on to be better filled with the Spirit?

3. Stephen in his speech demonstrated a high level of Biblical knowledge to point them back to Jesus. Could you defend the faith in this same way?

4. Stephen is bold in sharing even to the point of death. Do you feel like you are bold in your faith?

5. What does forgiveness mean?

6. Stephen asks for forgiveness for those who are persecuting him. Who is someone in your life that you need to extend forgiveness?

7. What things stop you from extending forgiveness?
