Acts Chapter 15
Acts chapter 15 gives us the Jerusalem Council where they decided what it means to be saved. Paul and Barnabas also got into a disagreement over John Mark.
Read: Acts 15:1-21, 36-41
1. In Acts 15 we see the main conflict of the Jerusalem council being salvation. What are some arguments you have experienced in churches? What happened because of the arguments? Was it a fight worth fighting?
2. What did the Jerusalem council decide was important for the Gentile believers to know? Is there anything extra you think they should have told the Gentile believers?
3. Why did Paul and Barnabas split?
4. Whose side would you have taken? Paul's or Barnabas'?
5. What things in Christianity do you feel are worth arguing over?
