Acts Chapter 17

Acts chapter 17 gives us the story of Paul and Silas handling conflict, as well as Paul in Athens preaching to the Areopagus.

Read: Acts 17:1-27

1. One of the difference between Thessalonica and Berea is that Berea was open-minded when it comes to the Gospel. Do you find it hard to be open-minded about new or different things? Do you view open-mindedness as a bad thing? How can being open-minded help you in sharing the Gospel?

2. Another difference was that Berea was rooted on what the Bible says. How can you know what the Bible says about a certain topic? Do you struggle to understand the Biblical perspective?

3. We see that Paul was heartbroken over the people in Athens. How would you describe your attitude toward people who are lost?

4. How can we point people to Jesus when they are dealing with tough issues?

5. We know that God can turn the world upside down, but He does it one person at a time. Does that frustrate you?

6. Which do you need God to change in your life: your feelings, the things you want, or the way you think about things.
